The Hudson Valley fold-thrust belt (HVB) is a narrow band of thrust faults and folds that verge generally westwards, toward the foreland of the Appalachian orogen. First-order folds range up to about m in amplitude and m in wavelength. The HVB is clearly a post-Taconic feature, because its structures involve the post-Taconic unconform-File Size: 1MB.
